Concept example: to add 8- 28 slots for skill activation. This additional slots can be located separately from original slots, without mutagen to take effects on this additional slots. +8 slots = 20 in total, +18 slots = 30 in total.
- Hi I really want to add MOD that gives me extra slots - I'm new to using mods and I'm slowly adding them (don't want to jump into Enhanced edition yet). The Mods I found for extra slots.

Witcher 3 Mods Free
Adds 60 (48, 24, 12, 8, 4) more skill slots! Or you will have 72 (60, 36, 24, 20, 16) skill slots!!! Also allows to unlock all skill slots from level 1.
You can change desired amount of skill slots in game menu Options->Gameplay->Skill Slots Count.
What this mod does: - Remove the color system in mutations slots and allow the possibility to place any skill in mutations slots, even perks. Install Place the mod in your mods folder, or use NMM. My other mods: Combat Controll Select Multiple Mutations Perks Mutagen Bonus Enjoy!
You can unlock all skill slots in game menu Options->Gameplay->Unlock all skill slots.
Hidden slots behave just like default slots except they are not shown in the GUI (added Equipped Skills section to the statistics screen where are shown all equipped skills in each skill group)!
1. Installation
Make a backup copy of your save game folder before using any mods!
Unpack archive to the <game_installation_dir>mods folder (steam path example: D:SteamSteamAppscommonThe Witcher 3mods). If mods folder doesn't exist, create it.
2. Old save games and New Game+ (existing NG+ saves supported from v1.1)

Mod may be used with an old save games. After installing this mod you can continue to play save games made before mod installation (you need to use Potion of Clearance after mod installed to force the game to reinitialize skill slots). Potion of Clearance is not required starting from v1.2.
After loading existing save first time after mod installation go to game menu Options->Gameplay->Skill Slots Count and select desired amount of skill slots
3. Changing mod versions (using mod version with the different number of slots) (for v1.4 only)
After you change the version of mod to the version with different number of slots you'll see the that slot number haven't change in previous save games. To changes take effect you should use Potion of Clearance to force the game to refresh hidden slots.
4. Usage
If you started the new game after the mod installation then you will have all hidden skill slots available. If you installed the mod and use your old save games or starting the New Game+ using the old save game then you should use Potion of Clearance to add hidden slots into the game.
Witcher 3 Armor Mods
After loading existing save first time after mod installation go to game menu Options->Gameplay->Skill Slots Count and select desired amount of skill slots.
To equip skill in hidden slot just place the skill in the first skill slot of any skill group the 'use hidden slot' confirmation dialog will appear. If you agree to use hidden slot skill will be equipped in the first free hidden skill slot of that group. If you disagree to use hidden slot skill will be equipped in the selected skill slot.
Skill tool tip will show you in what skill slot and skill group the skill equipped.
To uneqiup skill from hidden slot you should place that skill in any default (not hidden) slot (like when you move the skill from one slot to another) and then remove it from that slot as usual.
Empty slot tooltip will show you the total number of skill slots (48 after mod installed and Potion of Clearance used).
Hidden slots behave just like the default slots except they are not visible in the GUI :)
Skills in the hidden slots are also add synergy bonus to the skill group mutagen just like the skills in the default slots.
Now you can see all equipped skill grouped by mutagen slot groups in statistics screen (Press C on Inventory screen or on Skills screen)
